  • What if I or my Co-Participants are late to the show? Can I pause the show midway?
This is a self-guided experience, which means that you can enter the show late, but you will be out of sync with the other Co-Participants once you enter. You can rely on your Co-Participants to fill you in. Or, if you know your Co-Participants, you can ask them to adjust to changes in your schedule prior to the show. The use of departure times are only guidelines to ensure all Co-Participants reach the watch-party and Gather Town sections at the same time. You are welcome to pause your experience anytime, but please note that we do not have any automated mechanism to help you fall back in sync with your Co-Participants. "The Road to TÃZ" is ultimately a world run autonomously by its participants, including yourself.
  • Will this work internationally? Do all Participants have to be in the same time zone?
Yes, you can participate in the show with each individual in a different time zone or country.
  • How do I book?
You can book your journey to TÃZ at the bottom of this page. Please do read these FAQs first!
  • Will you collect any data from my experience?
Absolutely not. You experience is sacred, private, and yours alone.
  • Do I need any special equipment for this experience?
You do need a Windows or Mac desktop/laptop computer with Chrome, a camera, microphone and an internet connection capable of video chat. The experience will not work on tablets or mobile. You may use headphones or speakers. In addition, you will need: A pair of scissors. A pen or pencil. You can choose to bring additional art supplies as well, although it won't be necessary. A small food item. Something simple and small that you can comfortably eat inside 5 minutes. Ideally something that makes you feel close to nature. For example, a fruit, or snackable portions of lightly cooked potatoes, vegetables, or meat. But maybe not a bag of chips. If you are time-stressed, fruits work best as they are ready to eat. A blindfold. Or something you can blindfold yourself with (optional, only if you are comfortable with the idea). A glass of water (this glass will be used as part of the experience, so you may want to keep separate water handy to hydrate yourself). A candle (optional) Your TÃZ Journal. This contains game instructions. It will be emailed to you after your complete your booking.
  • How long is the show? What are your available departure times? How much does it cost?
"The Road to TÃZ" is a 1.5-2 hour self-guided online experience that runs 4 times a day at 12am, 6am, 12pm and 6pm WET (Lisbon Time). You can sign-up for your show time at the bottom of this page. "The Road to TÃZ" will always be a free experience. Note: If you see fewer than 4 departure times available at a certain date, that means that the hidden shows are sold out.
  • Does this have to be for 2-4 people? Can I do this alone?
This is a collaborative 2-4 person experience. Please ensure your Co-Participants feel safe and comfortable as they use this time and space to explore new ways of living their lives. TÃZ is a self-governing temporary autonomous zone whose norms of kindness and safety are protected by its visitors. You are of course more than welcome to explore TÃZ on your own, although you will be unable to play some of the co-operative activities that are part of the latter half of the experience.
